Lagos

Sunbathe on fantastic beaches of this resort, built around a harbour amid the lovely scenery of the south west coast. Stroll along pedestrianised cobbled streets, admire the boats in the new marina or just sit and relax in the flower-decked squares. Make sure you visit the 17^th-century fort in Lagos, one of the most historic towns in the Algarve.  It has excellent shops, bars and restaurants and a monthly market.
